Gian Arre studied Digital Filmmaking at De La Salle College of Saint Benilde where he has made over a dozen short films that participated and won in festivals like Gawad Alternatibo, Active Vista, Cabriolet, Freedom Mov_E, Kansai Queer Film Festival, MMFF, Cinemandirigma, Sorok, Cinemalaya x Nespresso, Sine Siklab, Cinemapua, INPFF, and Cinemobile among others. He was also a delegate of Richard Bolisay's CINELAB, Jun Lana's 3rd batch for CINEPANULAT, SIKAP's animation pitch lab, FDCP's Full Circle Lab, and Ricky Lee's 24th Batch of his screenwriting workshop.
